Gastein Valley. A ski paradise in Salzburger Land. With four different ski areas, 220 kilometres of pistes as high as 2600 metres above sea level and runs for all abilities: This is what makes Gastein Valley a true winter paradise for skiers. From carving hills and freerides, to moguls and deep-snow runs: a spectrum of opportunities that is quite beyond compare.
- The Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski area is easy to reach from Bad Hofgastein on the Schlossalmbahn lifts, and is the biggest contiguous ski area in Gastein Valley. The valley run next to the Schlossalmbahn passes right by the GOLDBERG, allowing guests to set out to enjoy the ski area right from here at our hotel.
Within easy reach by ski shuttle:
- The Graukogel ski area has a real appeal to fans of natural snow and its challenging runs are suitable for experienced skiers.
- The Dorfgastein-Grossarltal ski area is easy to reach using the Gastein Ski Bus, especially recommended for families with children. Its wide selection of pistes, along with traditional ski huts, guarantees vacation days filled with pure recreation.
- The high-alpine Sportgastein ski area lies on the fringes of Hohe Tauern National Park, and is likewise served by the Gastein Ski Bus. Skiing enjoyment is guaranteed here until early May!
