Yogaherbst Gastein – source of inspiration.
The Yoga Days in the Gastein Valley will once again take place under this claim from October 12 – 21. Inspiring every year – spring and summer. High up on the mountain. In a unique natural setting.
Around 40 yoga teachers. At 3 different locations. Over 300 units. And thus Europe’s largest yoga event.
Yoga and meditation with a view. Insight. And a low view.
This year, meditation sessions will also take place in the Gastein Healing Gallery for the first time. Two kilometers inside the mountain. At a relaxing 42 degrees. And the unique radon-containing air.
Breathe in – breathe out – come to rest.
Namasté.
We are proud to be part of this happening. Because we live yoga. High above. In our box seat. In our yoga hotel. Since 2016, we have had a yoga room that is second to none. Space – for everyone. Not mat to mat. But plenty of space for everyone. Whether for demanding asanas. Or during a relaxing meditation. Always with a view over the valley. Up to the summits. This is truly yoga in the mountains.
My personal highlight is the aerial yoga classes that I was able to give this year at the yoga hotel Das.Goldberg. Aerial yoga is a brand new trend from America that combines acrobatics with yoga exercises (asanas). Thanks to specially developed elastic cloths (hammocks), which are attached to ropes, you literally float through the asana practice. The cloth makes it possible to hold even challenging positions for longer and to experience them in a completely new way. This special form of yoga reverses gravity and leads to a feeling of boundless freedom. All forms of inversion postures are possible without exerting force and without putting pressure on the head, neck and spine. Aerial yoga strengthens the cardiovascular system and, thanks to its massage effect on the fasciae, stimulates lymph flow and thus tightens the tissue. It also keeps the spine more flexible and supple than any other comparable yoga method or sport.
I am therefore thrilled that one of the leading aerial yoga teachers is coming to Austria this year to hold a special floating aerial yoga retreat: Claudia Lederer.
Claudia completed a one-year training program with Dr. Patrick Broome, followed by the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training with Sharon Gannon and David Life at the Omega Institute in New York in 2005. Since then, she has taught in several centers in Munich and at her own annual yoga retreats in Ibiza.
We are proud to welcome you to our Aerial Yoga Retreat from November 18 – 23: https://www.dasgoldberg.at/pdf/das-goldberg-yoga-retreats-claudia-lederer.pdf
