    For many guests, the culinary experience is one of the highlights of a stay at DAS.GOLDBERG. The cuisine combines high-quality ingredients, creative culinary artistry, and a clear passion for enjoyment. Modern dishes with Alpine roots are served, inspired by the seasons and refined with selected products from the region and beyond. From the extensive breakfast and afternoon snack to the multi-course dinner menu, quality is the central focus. In the evening, guests can choose between a vegetarian menu and a menu featuring meat or fish. In the case of vegan diets, allergies, or intolerances, we kindly ask for information in advance of your arrival so that we can best accommodate individual requests.

  • Are there vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-friendly dishes?

    Yes. At DAS.GOLDBERG, vegetarian and vegan dishes are offered as a matter of course, as are individual alternatives for guests with allergies or intolerances.     Yes. The restaurant at DAS.GOLDBERG is also open to external guests with a prior reservation. Whether for breakfast, dinner, or special moments of indulgence with a view of the Gastein Valley mountains: the culinary offerings and the special atmosphere of the hotel can be experienced even without staying overnight. As available seating is limited, we recommend booking a table in advance.

    Yes. The cuisine at DAS.GOLDBERG is shaped by the culinary traditions of Austria and the Alpine region. Austrian classics are reimagined with high-quality ingredients, craftsmanship, and a modern interpretation. This results in dishes that combine familiar flavors with creative ideas. In addition to the daily changing dinner menus, selected Austrian classics are offered every evening. Depending on the season, the menu features both traditional specialties and international influences.

  • Is there a terrace for dining?

    The terrace at DAS.GOLDBERG offers an impressive panoramic view of Bad Hofgastein, the Gastein Valley, and the surrounding mountains. In fine weather, guests can enjoy their breakfast or afternoon snack on the terrace while taking in the mountain views. In the evening, the terrace is the perfect place to end the day with an aperitif or a post-dinner drink. Dinner itself is served exclusively in the restaurant and is not taken on the terrace.

  • Which meals are included in the stay?

    The Goldberg Culinary experience is included in a stay at DAS.GOLDBERG. This includes an extensive breakfast buffet with regional, selected, and homemade specialties, an afternoon snack with sweet and savory delicacies, salads, soup, and homemade cakes, as well as a multi-course dinner menu. In addition, tea, spring water, and small, healthy snacks are available throughout the day at the Soul.Food Bar in the Nature’s Nest. In this way, enjoyment accompanies you throughout your holiday.

  • Is there a daily menu?

    Yes. As part of the Goldberg Culinary experience, a five-course menu of choice awaits guests every evening. There are two menus to choose from daily: a menu with meat or fish and a vegetarian menu. The dishes are recomposed daily and are based on seasonal ingredients, culinary variety, and the inspirations of the kitchen team. Naturally, vegan diets as well as allergies and intolerances are also taken into account. To ensure that individual requests can be met in the best possible way, we ask for relevant information prior to arrival.

  • Do I need to reserve a table?

    No table reservation is required for hotel guests. There is free seating for breakfast and the afternoon snack. For dinner as part of the Goldberg Culinary experience, a fixed table is reserved for guests for the entire duration of their stay. We ask external guests to make a reservation in advance, as available seating is limited.

  • What is the connection between cuisine and nature?

    Many ingredients are guided by the region and the seasons. This is also reflected in the culinary concept through the nature of the Gastein Valley.
