Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2026

DAS.GOLDBERG honoured at the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2026

DAS.GOLDBERG received an award at the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2026 in the “Hotels – Rest of Europe” category. The family-run 5-star nature and design hotel in Bad Hofgastein achieved 25th place. In total, only four hotels from Austria received awards in this category.

The Readers’ Choice Awards are based on ratings from Condé Nast Traveller readers. More than 296,000 readers from the United Kingdom took part in the survey in 2026 and rated their travel experiences worldwide. The awards, presented annually, honour hotels, resorts, destinations, spas, airlines and cruise operators, among others.

5-star hotel in Bad Hofgastein

DAS.GOLDBERG is located on a high plateau above Bad Hofgastein, with views of the Gastein Valley and the surrounding mountain world. The family-run nature and design hotel features 65 studios and suites as well as a spa chalet. The hotel includes the approx. 1,500-square-metre Nature’s Nest Spa with a 22-metre infinity pool, natural swimming lake, sauna world and Goldstollen. In culinary terms, Goldberg Kulinarik accompanies guests from breakfast and the afternoon snack through to the evening 5-course set menu with choice. In winter, the location directly on the Schlossalm valley run enables ski-in/ski-out. In summer, numerous hiking trails start right at the hotel and lead out into the Gastein mountain world.
