INTO GOLDEN TIMES.

The former building, the Pyrkerhöhe, was first mentioned in a document in 1905 as a farm with an attached inn. A coveted spot, especially for spa guests and summer visitors: high above the Gastein Valley. Due to the premature death of the then owner, Katharina and Peter Seer were able to acquire the inn in 1981. Coming from the neighboring valley of Großarl and growing up in very poor circumstances, they saw their future in this farm. They renovated the business and expanded it by 24 rooms.
In 1997, his son Georg and his wife Vera took over the business. Her major goal was to completely rebuild the hotel. After 10 years of negotiations, the time had finally come: an additional hectare of land was acquired from the municipality to implement the project. The old building was demolished on September 1, 2012, and DAS.GOLDBERG opened on July 19, 2013.

Outlook. Into golden times.
With the nature and design hotel DAS.GOLDBERG, we want to bring stories together. And revive it: The golden age of the Gastein Valley. The history of the Seer family. And the stories of our guests.

Ending with a free-floating infinity pool. In infinity. Surrounded by a skywalk. And fascinatingly illuminated at night. On top: cold water pool incl. Waterfall into the whirlpool below, foam steam bath with event program, boundless Adlerhorst.Perspektive in the new restaurant & bar area, market stalls in the buffet area. And comprehensive upscaling in the suites.

// ThePARK VILLA:
In 2009, the Park Villa apartment house was completely renovated and 4 exclusive apartments for 2 to 8 people were created. The 4-star apartment house is located directly in the center of Bad Hofgastein and offers every comfort.

// The ARKADENHOF:
In 2016, the Seer family acquired the Arkadenhof, also located in the center of Bad Hofgastein. Initially intended exclusively as a staff house, it is now a renovated 4-star Arcadia apartment building offering large, modern staff apartments as well as several apartments for guests.

// The FEUER.BAR:
In 2019, a unique après-ski bar with winter BBQ was created right next to the DAS.GOLDBERG hotel: our Feuer.Bar.

// The B&B BERGLIFT:
Our latest favorite piece was added in 2021: the B&B BERGLIFT.
Located directly below the Goldberg and directly opposite the Schlossbergbahn valley station.
Anna and Peter Seer took over Das Berglift with the same casual ambition and passion as their parents and turned it into the place to be in Bad Hofgastein for younger generations: With a mega cool bed & breakfast, the best pizzeria in town, a ski rental shop with the latest equipment and an après-ski bar, the Salettl, that is second to none.
