Flying Waters

Fly high above the world-famous Gastein Waterfall. And enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Bad Gastein’s amazing nature and architecture. Spectacular.
“Flying Waters” is the name given to this breathtaking ride suspended from rollers that run down a steel cable – strung across the canyon formed by the Gasteiner Ache.
What initially sounds so dangerous is actually a fun and risk-free adventure for the whole family thanks to an infallible safety system. The 300-meter ride takes you from Villa Solitude to the Thermalquellpark. During your ride, you will be able to take in marvelous views of the historic town center, the Waterfall Path and Grabenbäcker Trail including a yoga platform, as well as the fascinating alpine world of the Hohe Tauern range.

from mid-May until the beginning of November, daily from 1:30 to 6 p.m. (also mornings during high summer)
