Design Hotel in Salzburger Land

Our design hotel in Salzburger Land was planned with loving attention to every detail by designers and architects Nicole Waltl-Piffer and Fred Waltl. Together with their office “W2Manufaktur”, they built the new Hotel DAS.GOLDBERG, primarily from regional materials. Wood harmonises with clay, sand and rock, and is complemented by linen. The theme of former gold-mining days is reflected in the garden. Here, amid this wonderfully designed idyll, you encounter 6 metres-tall sculptures of gold miners. The gold theme is also captured in a large golden wall with waterfall. In addition, typical regional wood carvings decorate our unique design hotel in Salzburger Land. In the lobby, you will also be greeted by a giant pendulum, which draws a beautiful pattern in a bed of sand, underscoring the preciousness of time.
