In winter, the Hohe Tauern region is immersed in a magical white world that promises plenty of winter fun. Around Bad Gastein you will find one of the most snow-sure ski areas in Austria and can look forward to exciting slopes. The Schloßalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski area is part of the Gasteinertal ski region in the Ski amadé ski network and therefore offers over 80 km of ski slopes. A total of five cable cars, seven chairlifts and seven T-bar lifts take you up to the varied slopes, which offer something for beginners and pros alike. Numerous cozy ski huts also provide plenty of entertainment between and after the runs and you can enjoy a drink in the modern snow bars.
