Climbing
Climbing – for all requirements. Whether for young or old, beginners or advanced. The Mauskarspitze via ferrata offers spectacular views of the Gastein mountains with many variations.
- Approach to the wall: From the Kleine Scharte mountain station (2050 m), turn left on trail no. 3 past the large reservoir to a chairlift that leads up to the Hohe Scharte. Along the slope uphill, shortly below the mountain station turn right to the already clearly visible entrance at a sign.
- Access altitude: 2240 m
- Descent: On the normal route (partly steep grass passages) down to the cable car station.
The via ferrata is particularly interesting for children. And a ride down to the middle station on a mountain cart or monster scooter afterwards guarantees an action-packed day – for everyone.
